2016 Monte Sano Writers Conference

I’m excited! The fourth annual Monte Sano Writers Conference will be held on Saturday, April 2, 2016 in Huntsville, Alabama. I’ve wanted to attend every year before now, but couldn’t. This is my year!

“Everything Shapes Us.”

This writing conference is exceptional in many ways. It’s in my hometown in North Alabama, easy to get to from Tennessee, Georgia, and Mississippi. At a mere $70 ($80 at the door), it’s super affordable, plus attendees are served a hot lunch on-site. Best of all, the emcee and presenting author is Huntsville’s own Homer Hickam, author of the #1 best-selling memoir Rocket Boys (made into the film October Sky) and his latest best-seller Carrying Albert Home.

The conference will include in-depth discussion from the authors about their experiences writing various kinds of Fiction, Non-Fiction, Fantasy, Graphic Novels and Horror, Romance, Memoirs, Young Adult, Blogs, and more. It will cover Publication and Marketing with lots of time for Q&A from participants. Invaluable handouts will give you the tools to become a better writer, help you get published and sell your work.
